Better deal for Fold up Bicycles!
Because CityRail charges people to take a bicycle on the train during peak hour, they also charge people to carry a fold-up bicycle. Most people can't tell the difference between a fold-up bicycle and a suitcase. A fold-up bicycle is the same size as a large briefcase or a school backpack. Yet CityRail makes people buy a ticket to carry their fold-up bicycles on the train, while every other suitcase travels for free. It's sheer bureaucracy.
Support The Greens' campaign to let fold-up bicycles travel for free on CityRail trains.

Some points to include in your letter:
- I support the Greens campaign to allow fold-up bicycles to travel for free on CityRail trains.
- I can't tell the difference between a fold-up bicycle and any other piece of luggage, and I don't think people should have to pay to carry a suitcase or sportsbag on the train just because it has a fold-up bicycle inside it.
- The Government should be encouraging people out of their cars and onto bicycles and trains. A fold-up bicycle is a fast, efficient way to travel, especially when combined with a train journey.
- I urge you to allow fold-up bicycles to travel for free on all CityRail trains at all times of the day.
- Please advise me of what action you intend to take.
Make sure you include your name and address.
