The 2006 Juanita Nielsen memorial lecture was given by Jocelynne Scutt.

Dr Jocelynne Scutt is a barrister, human rights lawyer, writer and filmmaker. Her books include The Incredible Woman - Power and Sexual Politics, The Sexual Gerrymander - Women and the Economics of Power, and Poor Nation of the Pacific - Australia's Future. Jocelynne has worked with the Australian Institute of Criminology, as associate to a High Court judge Lionel Murphy; as the first Tasmanian Anti Discrimination Commissioner and with the Australian Law Reform Commission.

Rebecca Reilley spoke on the life and times of Juanita Nielsen.  At the time Rebecca worked for the LHMU.

Pippa McInnes chaired the 2006 lecture.
