The Greens NSW have been campaigning for a more enlightened and long term policy approach to roads and road building in NSW. The long held NSW government prioritisation with roads and motorways has left public transport services and infrastructure across the state in disarray. - Greens MP Lee Rhiannon says the just released report from Infrastructure Australia recommending priority infrastructure projects for federal funding gives NSW a fail mark for progressing public transport projects which Infrastructure Australia judges should be a key priority. Ms Rhiannon says the government's omission in not even bidding for funding for the $6.7 billion north-west rail link means it is unlikely ever to be built.
